Welcome To Shining Star Community
Shining Star Community Services is a Las Vegas based company serving recipients ages 3 to 17, and adults of all ages. Our agency specializes in Basic Skills Training, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, therapy, supervised visitation, and parent training.
Our team of highly qualified individuals work with families in their homes or in the community to provide assistance with community resources, anger management, coping skills, organization, and much more.
The leadership team at Shining Star has over 35 combined years working in the field of mental and behavioral health. The team is ready to work with your family, or individuals to improve mental and behavioral health.
Our training rooms allows for group training’s, or we can train individually in the home. We are located near major bus routes off Eastern and Tropicana.

Diana comes to Las Vegas from Southern California. Her last 35 years included work as leadership in the mental health field including residential facilities and direct outpatient care. AS an adoptive parent she understands the needs of foster children in our community and has built lasting relationships with community partners to meet the needs of children and families.

Florence Sweet
LMFT, Clinical Supervisor
Florence is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the clinical supervisor as Shining Star. Florence has many years working in mental/behavioral health even prior to becoming a therapist. Her knowledge and desire to help others has made her a great asset to the agency.
Sabrina Colson
Programs Director
She has developed and implemented many programs within the agency, and provides supervision and oversight where needed. Her ability to network, her organizational skills, and her passion have made her an invaluable part of Shining Star.

Mason has worked in mental/behavioral health for more than 9 years with adolescents, adult and geriatric populations. During his time with Shining Star, his creativity, charisma and dedication has made him a strong asset to the agency, our clients and the Las Vegas community.
